Chief Executive: John O'Brien
John was appointed in April 2007. He has a wealth of experience gained from working for local authorities, the Improvement and Development Agency, government departments and as a consultant. In his first year at London Councils he led a fundamental review of the organisation, leading to the introduction of a new structure in April 2008.

Corporate Director, Policy and Public Affairs: Dick Sorabji
Dick began work at London Councils in April 2008. He was previously deputy director of think-tank The New Local Government Network. Dick is tasked with bringing together London Councils' policy and public affairs functions to lead debate and innovation in London's local government and public services.

Corporate Director, Services: Nick Lester
Nick was formerly Director of Transport, Environment and Planning at London Councils. He took up his new role in April 2008 and is responsible for bringing together the direct services run by London Councils, including grants, transport and housing services.

Corporate Director, Capital Ambition: Steve Johnson
Steve took up his post as corporate director of the capital's Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership, Capital Ambition, at the end of September 2008. Prior to joining London Councils, Steve was director of customer services and performance at London borough of Redbridge.
