Conservative group
The Conservatives are the single largest party on the London Councils' Leader's Committee, with 16 of the 33 seats. Conservative group leader Cllr Merrick Cockell (pictured right) was elected Chairman at the AGM in July 2006, two months after the London borough elections. Cllr Stephen Carr, Leader of Bromley, was elected Deputy Chairman.
