Personalising the site - your onsite service

When we asked regular site users what they would like to see improve, many asked for easier access to onsite information. Our new personalised service provides information updates directly to you and adds bonus services to make your life easier.

How to register

On the top right of each page you will see a login box. Click through the link to register. Once you have registered you will only need to login once with your personal password to access the online services.

By email

We have a number of e-publications and 'what's new' updates that previously site visitors had to sign up for separately in different areas of the site. Now on registration visitors only need to sign up once to receive email updates from your specific area(s) of interest, the London Bulletin online, Key Issues and our press releases. You can also choose how often you wish to receive alerts and change your preferences at any time.

Online services

Your personalised panel

Once you are registered a blue personalised panel will appear on the right of each page. For most pages this will appear bottom right of the page. On certain pages e.g. Media Center and Homepage this will appear on the top right.

To see all the information on your panel you will need to expand it. This will give you one click access to

  • your networks (once you have permission to access)
  • information on any meetings or events you are attending and associated documents
  • your articles of interest, including press releases, key issues and the London Bulletin magazine online.

Personalised forms

Once logged in any forms onsite will automatically fill in your details - there's no need to re-type your name and address each time.

Personalised calendar

When you login any events you have registered for will appear marked for you on the events calendar. You can add these events to your outlook calendar on your own PC by clicking the link and selecting open. If you go to the 'list view' of the events calendar you will see your events listed first.

Personalising networks and meetings information

For security reasons, you will need to be given permission by your network, forum or committee administrator to add these to your personalised content once you have registered for the site.
